The little lady who is not afriad of anything... Groups 1-3

For the extra points (possible 10 points)...
Please carefully watch the clips and make comments based on the following points:
1. if the trash materials were efficiently used to create the sounds that go with the story line?
2. if the musical concepts(timbre, dynamic levels, and tempo or speed)were taught throughout the activity?
3. if the students (listeners) were engaged in the activity (if they were motivated)?
4. if the story teller was energetic and dramatic enough?
5. if the presentation followed a nice flow (pace)?

Group 1.

I think group 2 did a great job of using all of their items to create all of the sounds. They did not leave anything out. I didn't notice a change in the tempo or pace of the story from the instruments as it progressed as far as going faster.
I think the nararator could have done a better job of showing enthusiam in the story to keep the audience captivated. I think this group did a good job all around as far as using the lines from the song and finding creative ways to make the sounds.

I think group 1 did a great job! They used their trash effectively for the sounds except for the nodding sound. They didn't really change their speed as the story went on and the little old lady moved faster. I think this group did a great job of keeping the audience interested because they chose numerous times to add in lines from the song and asked us to sing along. I think the story teller did a really good job of being enthusiastic and changing her voice throughout the story. Good job group 1!

I think group 3 did a good job of using their items to create the sounds except that they could have used something to make the nod-nod sound instead of just nodding. They also could have made the knocking sound. Sometimes I noticed a change in the tempo as the story went on but sometimes I didn't. I don't know if the listeners were that engaged.
I think the narrator could have been a little more enthusiastic in their reading and used different pitches and tones in certain parts of the story. She also said the words for the sounds instead of just letting them be done by the actual items. But overall, I think they did a good job.

i believe that all of the groups did a good job in incorporating their trash into the story. Group one did and group 6 did good in that they got the class involved with singing part of the song too. I think that the pace of the story went good in all groups but the first two groups could have exaggerated a little more for when the little old lady whispered or for when the little old lady walked faster. Overall i believe everyone did a great job in telling their stories.
