Considering that Laura was under the weather, I think she did fairly well presenting her lesson plan. For musicianship I would give her a 5/5. She sang the song a little fast the first time through by herself but it was probably because of nerves. But, when we sang as a whole class she was able to keep everybody on the right tempo. On the leadership section she did well conisering her circumstances. Obviously since she was sick she was not able to talk loudly and have an enormous amount of energy. Since we knew she was sick I believe that she did the best she could. She made good eye contact with everyone and was very aware of her student's progress and if they were picking up on her cues. Therefore, I would give her a 10/10 for leadership. For leadership I would give Laura a 14/15. She had to refer to her paper several times during the lesson plan. I think she knew what she was doing, but this caused for her lesson not to run as smoothly as it could have. There was even a period of time near the end of her presentation where there was a long pause and we were kept waiting because she was looking at her paper for what to do next. She had the dance movements memorized and had all her materials ready that she needed. Finally, for delivery of instruction I would give Laura an 18/20. The sequence of steps flowed very smoothly and the lesson builded upon each step that we learned making sure we progressed as we went on. She had good flexibility when she realized she needed to adjust and rephrase her question about what kind of word is tip toe, and that we did not understand what she was asking. She quickly realized this and rephrased what she was looking for. She gave a lot of good feedback to the students, but could have been a little bit more spefic with it and told them what exactly they were doing well. She also had a few yes and no questions that she should try and avoid next time. She had an excellent closure and not only verablly asked the students what they learned but had them demonstrate it. This shows that her students clearly understood the lesson that was taught.
Laura's overall score from me is a 47/50. I really enjoyed the dance that she taught us with her lesson, and I think she handle herself extremely well considering she was sick.

I think that Laura did a pretty good job. I really enjoyed her overall lesson plan and the things she did in her lesson. For musicianship i would give her a 5. She sang very well, but was a little fast the first time through. As far as leadership i would give her a 8. I understand being sick is no fun, but when teaching especially younger children you have to be energetic even when under the wheater otherwise they are just going to totally take advantage and misbehave. For preperation i would give her a 13. She seemed to look at her lesson plan very often like maybe she hadn't memorized it very well. I did however really like the movements and rhythmic pattern she had them do.For delivery of Instruction i am going to give her a 19. She gave good feedback and answered all the questions the children had, she also explained herself when they didn't understand her question. The motivation and capturing attention is what i'm not sure was 100%, but i totally understand being sick. I also think she transitioned very well, and did a good job with her closure. Overall i would give her a 45/50. Good job!
