I think that Peter did a very good job on his presentation, given the fact that he wasn't planning on presenting. For Musicianship, i gave him a 4. I felt that we could have been more excited about teaching, and a little bit louder, so we could all hear. For leadership, I thought than an 8 was appropriate. While he had good eye contact, and he moved, and laughed, with everyone, I think he could have showed a bit more energy, and better facial expressions while teaching the song. Preparation gets a 14, because he needed to refer constantly to his written notes. He had his music ready, and absolutely knew the song, and the motions to do. And for delivery, I assessed a 16. The presentation didn't seem to flow as smoothly as it could have. There was no closure at the end, or followup questions to reinforce what we learned. Overall, a 40/50. I do believe, however, that if Peter was given another chance, he would receive a higher grade.
Great job. It was a fun song, and lots of movement to wake up us, and make us smile :)

I think that Peter did a great job on his lesson plan. He chose a song that really got the students excited and engaged. For Musicianship I gave Peter a 5/5. It can be very hard for males to be even find a voice appropriate for that age group and I think Peter did a nice job with that. Although I would have liked to see him use a little bit more of his head voice hopefully, he will just keep that in mind for next time. For Leadership I gave him a 9/10. I think that he had a good way of getting the students involved by having different students lead the dance at different points. I do however, feel that facial expression could have been a bit better because it seemed at times like he just wanted to get it over with. Preparation deserved a 15/15. I think that Peter did a great job memorizing the song and and the dance and was able to accurately get that across to the students. Last but not least, delivery deserved a 16/20. I think that the overall lesson could have used a lot more energy because it seemed like the students were more excited then Peter to be there at times. I also liked that he did a great job staying focussed when the teacher came in with the piano all of a sudden. However, the entire lesson lacked any closure to bring it all back together and make the students understand what the whole lesson plan was about. Overall, I gave peter a 45/50. I think that he chose a song that would really get the students attention and something that they would remember even after the lesson plan. Really I think with a little bit more excitement it would have been wonderful but I think he really did a great job.
