Evaluation Form for In-Class Teaching Assignment

Name Ellen
Lesson: In class teaching

I think Ellen did a very good job with her lesson plan. It was a tougher lesson than most of the others in our class, but she made sure that the lesson was aimed towards upper elementary students. She obviously has musical knowledge and is skilled with the piano. It was good that she taught the song one step at a time so that the students could learn it properly. Overall, I believe her lesson was very good and well planned.

Name: Ellen
Lesson: In class teaching

Ellen did an awesome job on her lesson! I can honestly say it was one of, if not the best presentations we had. You can tell that Ellen chose a lesson that she knew was going to be challenging but did an excellent job with it. The song we sang was much more difficult than many of the others, but with her instruction we were all able to learn it easily. Her musicianship was also very good, and you can tell that she must have had some prior experience by the way she was playing the piano. She included everything that was necessary for the lesson, and had very strong enthusiasm, voice tone and volume. Although we did not see each others lesson plans it was obvious that she had everything very well planned out. The entire delivery was also nicely presented, the only thing I say would be to move around a bit more, but it makes sense that she was by the piano because she had to play it a great deal of the time. Overall, I would have graded the lesson...
