Musicship-5 (not a good singer, but I tried)
Leadership-8 (more intensity, more facial expressions)
Preperation-12 (even though I knew what I was going to do, I kept looking at the lesson plan in from of me)
Delivery of Instruction-16 (When I did the song, the class joined in to sing with me, so I left out teaching the 2 verses separately. In a kindergarten class, kids wouldn’t be able to pick up on the song that fast. So when I was teaching, I needed to not act like the kids got the song right away. Because I skip some of the steps, the lesson went very fast.)

A)I felt like I knew the song really well. This seems like it is completely necessary, but some of the people in my group didn’t know their song. But I practiced my song many times to make sure that I knew it really well. The song didn’t sound all that great, but I followed the pitch of the song.
B)Like I answered in the delivery of instruction, I didn’t follow my lesson plan. It started to go wrong when I said I was going to sing the song again while they were tapping the rhythm, but I gave them the option to sing it with me if they knew the words. When I gave them this option, they all started to sing with me. And because of this I knew that they knew the song. So I skipped the steps where I taught the verses separately.
C)If I could do it again, I would not give the option to sing it along with me, so that way I could have the kids learn the 2 verses separately. Also, tap the rhythmic was probably a bit advanced for a kindergarten class, so I probably would just tap a steady beat. Also to eliminate looking at my lesson plan unnecessarily, I shouldn’t even bring it up with me.

MUSICIANSHIP 5: I felt that you did a good job with the singing. You were in tune and singing very clear so the students can follow you smoothly. Nice pitch.

LEADERSHIP 10: I like how you projected your voice. You brought forth a very happy, calm voice and you were excited. You shared eye contact with all the students....you looked around to make sure everyone was on one accord. you had enough energy to carry you through the lesson.

PREPARATION 15: From the looks of it, you were well prepared and knew what you wanted to do. you sung the song pretty good. also, you seem like you really enjoyed teaching the lesson. You didn't have any instruments or materials, you just kept it simple and short. Good job!

DELIVERY 16: You were very organized. At first you seemed like you were a little nervous, you just need to relax more and be a little more enthusiastic. You were bery focused and not all over the place. I like the fact that your closing remarks were sumed up pretty well. the students gave positive feedback. Overall, good job, but it could've been a little longer and more enthusiastic.

Musicianship (5) You did well with being on pitch and tempo

Leadership (8)- needs more body language don't just be a statue. I felt you needed more eyecontact and less looking at your sheet.

Preperation (13)- You knew the song well but seemed not to know your lesson plan.

Delivery (18)- nice sequence of steps. The flow went pretty well I thought and I know what you mean about them understanding it but kindergartners wouldn’t.. I ran into the same issue but i think that’s a good thing and showed you were flexible.

Overall I think you did a great job
