50/50- I can’t think of anything to take off. I really enjoyed you lesson!!!
MUSICIANSHIP- You did a good job with the song.
LEADERSHIP- You were very energetic and smiley. You had good volume; I was able to hear you the whole time singing the song. You looked like you were really enjoying teaching the lesson.
PREPARATION- You already had the candy ready in the bags, so that you didn’t have to waste time doing that during the lesson. It was very evident that you knew your lesson very well.
DELIVERY- Before you had the whole class act out the song, you did plenty of practice singing the song. It was a very fun song, and the candy helped to keep the kids attention. You had a very good closing adding activity at the end (good visuals to act it out and keep everyone involved). At the end you summed up what you taught.
Musicianship(5): Well I wanted to be extra creative so I thonk it was a great idea for me to make my own song.
Leadership(8): as far as leadership, i think i was very clear about what i wanted the children to do and I made sure I was organized. But i feel as though I rushed a little bit and was going too fast. I made sure my instructions were easy to follow
PREPARATION(15): I was definitely prepared to teach my lesson and practiced alot with friends. I wanted to make sure I went in order so the song/activity can go smooth. I gave eye contact with all my students and kept a cheerful and fun attitue so they can enjoy. Im glad I chose candy because it really made learning the song very fun and enjoyable for the students.
DELIVERY(20): I gave the children lots of practice to make sure that they weren't confused and to observe how they can keep a steady beat.overall I think I did a good job, eventhough i kinda rushed. I should have went a little slower.
